Meet The trainer!
Melanie Frye, DNP, APRN, FNP-C is a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner specializing in non-surgical aesthetic medicine. Melanie holds her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Texas-Houston Health Science Center School of Nursing, a Master of Science degree from Texas Woman's University, and a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from the University of Texas- Arlington. She became Board Certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners in March of 2005.
In 2007, Melanie underwent training for BOTOX® injectables and dermal fillers (such as Restylane®, Restylane Lyft®, Juvederm®, etc.). During that time, she also received additional certification in the utilization of lasers for hair removal and skin rejuvenation. Since then she has become trained in the administration of sclerotherapy and has undergone extensive training for the advanced placement of dermal fillers, including the newer generation dermal fillers. Since 2010 Melanie has also become an experienced injector of Sculptra Aesthetic® collagen stimulator, Kybella for submental fullness and other areas of unwanted body fat, and has as gained extensive experience in microneedling devices. Melanie has most recently become trained in the use of PDO and similar threads for the face and body, as well as Microneedling and Injectable RF for skin tightening. Melanie specializes in taking a conservative approach to anti-aging, focusing on improving the integrity of the skin and promoting natural results.
Melanie has been a G.A.I.N. Trainer for Galderma since 2016, and a private trainer since 2018. Most recently in 2023, she was nominated to become one of Galderma’s National Speakers.
Melanie enjoys sharing ideas with fellow colleagues in the aesthetic industry, and has been a co-founder of multiple aesthetic networking collaborative organizations. She regularly participates in national conferences, workshops, training and and is passionate about continuing education. Melanie is happily married with two sons. She enjoys reading, water and snow sports, and watching her boys play sports during her downtime.
